We are seeking a Machine Operator with technical skills in a production environment.

For 1st Shift : 7:00am - 3:30pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the team on following proper process flow to consistently maintain and run the machine.
• Maintains proper processes and controls as determined by quality department.
• Maintain equipment with a PM system to assure consistency and durability.
• Ensures proper standard operation procedures are followed.
• Diagnose repetitive problems and apply corrective actions to reduce/eliminate from happening again.
• Partner with supervisor to troubleshoot problems and work towards continuous improvement in your designated lines (e.g., maintenance, quality, safety, purchasing etc.)
• Assist with productivity, machining, and maintenance functions as required.
• Troubleshoot machines to provide guidance to departmental Technicians and Operators as well as provide feedback to Engineering and Maintenance on issues and potential fixes.
• Effectively communicate with other shift Supervisors, Plant Manager, and other Department leaders on a routine basis

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience applying technical skills to production machinery required
• Prior experience as machine operatory, highly preferred but this position will be required to also be a machine operator
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School diploma preferred
• Excellent food safety experience
• Mechanical aptitude
