Karlsburger Foods is seeking a full time WAREHOUSE MANAGER. This role will work at our Corporate Headquarters located in Monticello, MN, and report directly to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe work environment through personal actions. Identify any safety concerns, and ensure daily adherence to all OSHA, SQF and internal safety guidelines.
• Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; scheduling, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; conducting staff meetings; addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Direct and assign work; set performance objectives and monitor performance of all warehouse departments
• Works on the floor daily performing a variety of tasks including; Receiving, Inventory Control, Picking, & Shipping.
• Ensure that warehouse concerns are heard at corporate level; Communicates stated Company goals, objectives and direction to warehouse staff
• Utilize Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) related to planning daily facility requirements; complete CIP monthly reports
• Promote an open door policy and team environment
• Aids in the design / assessment / selection / management of offsite warehouse, logistics, and 3PL options

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years warehouse leadership experience including thorough knowledge of inventory control, receiving, shipping, warehouse layout of raw materials and finished goods storage;
• Previous leadership experience including coaching and development of employees;

· Strong passion to learn and grow as a supply chain expert in the food industry;

· Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed, team based environment;

• PC skills; Strong MS Suite Skills desired;
• Must be able to lift 50 LB Bags / Boxes;
• Ability to Operate a Forklift

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelors Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Business;

· Experience with Microsoft Business Central (ERP);

· APICS Certification;

· Lean / Six Sigma Certification;

· Experience in the Food Industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
