Position Summary

The Associate Accounting Training Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive training that gives our customers and their businesses the tools and knowledge to utilize Karmak accounting software effectively and efficiently. The Associate Training Specialist must be able to train users on the Karmak Fusion Accounting module. Once a module lead, the Associate Accounting Training Specialist must be able to convert accounting data for the customer Sandbox and Live environments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Able to train accounting users at all skill levels.

• Use accounting knowledge to assist customers with the transition to Karmak Fusion.

• Able to understand accounting data and assist with conversion to Karmak Fusion.

• Assist customers through the transition from their previous business system to Fusion by providing the following:

o Webinar training prior to Bring Live.

o On-site or Remote training during Bring Live.

o In-house point of contact for on-site trainers.

• Conduct continued education webinars for existing customer base.

• Understand Karmak’s implementation process and the departments that impact the process. Able to work with each of the necessary departments in a positive and accountable manner.

• Able to be a resource on special projects as assigned.

• Complete all related tasks and documentation for any and all assigned tasks. Including, but not limited to:

o Training Module Master Workbooks

o Session Recordings

o Recap emails

o Clockify

• Adherence to all Department and Team policies and processes as identified in written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documents.

• Able to convert Sandbox and Live data. This includes the following:

o Takes ownership of discussing with the customer best practices and data inconsistencies, including analyzing the data and making suggestions on potential risks and roadblocks.

• Understands best practices, has Excel knowledge, understands the conversion tools and any other necessary requirements for a successful conversion.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Valid US Driver’s License.

• Ability to travel inside and outside of United States.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to learn the Karmak Fusion Accounting module.

• Ability to learn to effectively communicate Data requirements for Sandbox and Live conversion files.

• Ability to learn to perform Conversion for Sandbox and Live environments.

• Ability to learn and work both independently and within the framework of a team.

• Basic understanding of the business and industry of our customers.

• Basic knowledge of various learning styles and how to apply them.

• Ability to work individually as well as in a team setting.

• Customer service skills. Ability to maintain a professional attitude.

• Ability to maintain focus and be detail oriented.

• Have excellent time-management and organizational skills.

• Be able to work well within the framework of a team and to follow documented processes and procedures.

• Have an Associate degree in accounting OR equivalent experience.
