Duties:

• Assist residents to, from and with activities to enable maximum participation.
• Record activity attendance and participation in both group and individual programs.
• Lead assigned groups and individual activities.
• Coordinate arts and crafts program for all levels of residents.
• Review resident activity care plan and assist in providing activities consistent with the plan.
• Assist in seasonal and holiday decorating of facility.
• Provide each resident with a current activity calendar.
• Assist in maintaining an on-going program for resident birthday recognition.
• Participate in community outings and special events as requested.
• Report resident incidents and accidents to the DON immediately.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school Diploma or GED.
• Must have the ability to recognize and have concern for the participants’ needs, and the willingness to perform suitable services which are appropriate.
• Must have exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills and Microsoft efficient
• Fun high energy
• Must be able to arrive to work timely and as scheduled.

Job Type/ Pay : Full-time $11.00 hour
Monday-Friday, Every other weekend, Holidays
