Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences is Hiring an Analytical Chemist Near North Salt Lake, UT
- Provide technical skills, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products.
- Support current projects in research & development and pilot-scale manufacturing.
- Focus will be on analytical chemistry work and / or in vitro biology work using instruments in the lab.
- Execute technical and cross-functional project work.
- Follow and execute standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods.
- Coordinate and support maintenance activities of lab as required.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Supervisor or as required to support the business.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science or similar.
- Hands-on chemistry, wet lab, or analysis experience / relevant degree.
- Understanding of working in a lab.
- Lab work experience a strong plus.
- The ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong ability to learn.
