Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences is Hiring a Scientist 1 Near Salt Lake, UT

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical skills, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products.
  • Support current projects in research & development and pilot-scale manufacturing.
  • Focus will be on analytical chemistry work and / or in vitro biology work using instruments in the lab.
  • Execute technical and cross-functional project work.
  • Follow and execute standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods.
  • Coordinate and support maintenance activities of lab as required.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Supervisor or as required to support the business.
Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science or similar.
  • Hands-on chemistry, wet lab, or analysis experience / relevant degree.
  • Understanding of working in a lab.
  • Lab work experience a strong plus.
  • The ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports is a strong plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong ability to learn.
