MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Technical Science (e.g., Engineering),
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience required.
- A minimum of four (4) years actual Salesforce development experience is required, more is preferred.
- Background developing/debugging and testing of software applications.
- Must have active IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security )
- Must have a Salesforce Certification or recently completed Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform App Builder, and Trailhead training.
- Ability to produce quality technical documentation and analysis.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance eligibility (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Experience working as a Salesforce Developer with technical knowledge/experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, AJAX, jQuery.
- Experience with Agile software development and DevSecOps.
- Knowledge and experience with VisualForce, Apex, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Working experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cucumber, Typescript).
- Experience working with Salesforce DevOps including tools and technologies such as Agile Accelerator, Flosum, Copado, Eggplant, and/or Salesforce DX.
- Strong understanding of concepts in Computer Science (data structures, run time, common algorithms).
- Microservices/API experience (SOAP/REST).
- Self-starter who is comfortable working with various skill sets including other developers and system engineers.
- Upbeat attitude and a passion for learning.
- Organized and efficient with ability to document all stages of the design solutions.
- Experience in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.).
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and soft skills.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-Time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAINING REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT
Specialized training and certifications are required for this position. Training and exam costs will be provided by Katmai. Employees will be required to sign a Training Reimbursement Agreement that states that if unable to complete certifications within two months after employment starts, or if employment is terminated within the first year, all or a percentage of the training costs must be reimbursed. Details of this reimbursement agreement will be described in a separate document.
TRAVEL
Potential for travel. When required, employee will need to complete an MVR check.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 10%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Pay is $100,000 to $130,000 per year.
