SUMMARY

Responsible for the activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for an enterprise portal serving 1M users. Work closely with Cyber Security Engineers, Solutions Architects, Software Developers, Test Engineers, Operations Team, Product Owners, and with Creative Technologists to produce effective and functional solutions while maintaining design integrity across all project phases.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Architecture Team and Salesforce Program Architect to employ Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) techniques and tools to build the views necessary to model the software architecture and designs.
• Identify interfaces and dependencies to support the Portfolio Management process.
• Manage the development of interface requirements and interface specification documentation.
• Provide information required to support the development of Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF) views applicable for a SaaS capability.
• Coordinate integration activities with integration/interface working group members, develop test plans for integration/interface testing and produce test result reports and metrics collection.
• Generate or provide input for new or existing documentation.
• Lead interface requirements reviews in a cross-functional setting to support verification activities, traceability, and assessment/analysis of risk.
• Support test planning by identifying testability requirements and supporting review of test cases and defects, as needed.
• Provide input to planning and scheduling direction for project and release management.
• Coordinate with Cyber Security team to ensure designs comply with Government security standards.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Technical Science (e.g. Engineering).
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience.
• Proven knowledge and expertise in software and system requirements.
• Must have Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tool experience.
• Must understand on-line learning environments.
• Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Must be skilled in data and spreadsheet analysis and presentation of information including graphic software such as PowerPoint and Visio.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to pass and maintain a federal security clearance background investigation (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Cameo tool MBSE experience a plus.
• Development and updating of DoDAF views in an MBSE tool a plus.
• Strong computer skills including business solution software.
• Prior experience working with programming languages, hardware, operating systems, and software a plus.
• Prior experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Salesforce CRM as plus.
• Must be analytical and able to problem solve for technical issues.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and be able to work independently with little or no supervision, be exceedingly well organized, flexible.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties while operating under time constraints.
• Ability to take ownership of requirements traceability for any derived lower-level requirements up to the applicable source (system-level requirements) from which they originated.
• Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

TRAVEL

The expected travel time is less than 25%.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 10%. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.

Position consists of sitting for long periods of time. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse.
