Job Details
DescriptionKawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks a full-time Quality Technician at our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE.
Responsibilities Of Quality Technician
  • Investigate and determine disposition of in process components through testing and inspection methods
  • Support the proper use and application of testing equipment, which may include selection and programming of computerized techniques
  • Test and measure components to verify processes for special circumstances such as first article, line setup or movement, or segregated product
  • Inspect, test and/or measure product, equipment, operating procedures or operating conditions.
  • Collect, analyze, record and report data gathered through inspection and/or testing
  • Provide support to internal and external customers and/or vendors
  • Participate in failure investigations and recommend corrective actions
  • Observe and monitor production operations and measuring equipment to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Request and review standard tests to determine disposition of non-conforming product guidelines
  • May calibrate, maintain, modify, monitor, and/or operate equipment
  • May perform in-house audits and follow-up to suggest proactive improvements, prevent quality issues, and support productivity
Qualifications For Quality Technician
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing
  • Technical degree in related field, such as, manufacturing or quality control preferred
  • Ability to use measurement software Power Inspect, Polyworks and PCDMS helpful
  • Experience with CMM or articulated 3D Measuring Arm (Romer/Faro) preferred
