Join our growing team and be the driving force behind our successful bids!We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented estimator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in securing new commercial roofing and sheet metal projects by generating accurate and competitive estimates. You will work closely with the sales team, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure a smooth transition from proposal to project completion.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough site surveys to assess project scope and requirements
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial projects, including materials, labor, and equipment
  • Utilize industry-standard estimating software to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Analyze historical data and project costs to develop competitive pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop compelling proposals and presentations for clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
  • Proven ability to generate accurate and detailed cost estimates
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and materials
  • Excellent reading comprehension and ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and estimating software a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
