Role Description:

KBL is looking for an Assistant Designer to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role located in New York, NY. The Assistant Designer will support our Senior Designer working closely on one of our licensed brands for HSN. We have a small design team where a positive attitude, team work and collaboration are essential. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow within the company!

• Responsibilities - Support our senior designer throughout the design process with close attention to detail including but not limited to: 
• Technical sketches.
• Set up and update tech packs in PLM.
• Work closely with the Technical and Production teams to ensure accuracy and quality are maintained.
• Maintain Line Sheets & CAD books from initial development thru final production.
• Prepare color cards.
• Lab dip and print strike off approvals.
• Trim and fabric coordination.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong time management with the ability to prioritize
• Knowledge of garment construction and textiles
• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design
• 1-2 years experience in womenswear
