Quality and Reliability Engineer will support the PEO Missiles, Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense (SHIELD) Project Office. Candidates should have relevant experience in the following areas;
- Must have subject matter expertise in electronic, electrical, and electromechanical component engineering
- Selection based on application mission requirements
- Stress derating analysis
- Developing qualification and screening requirements
- Developing reliability test criteria Functional testing
- Circuit and tolerance analysis
- Reliability analysis and failure rate estimation
- Electronic assembly requirements and processes
- Tin whisker risk mitigation
- Solder joint reliability
- Failure analysis, root cause and corrective action
- Parts obsolescence management
- Familiarity with related standards, such as MIL-STD-11991, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, GEIA-STD-0005-2, GEIA-STD-0006, IPC-60XX, MIL-HDBK-338, MIL-PRF-38535, MIL-PRF-55681, MIL-PRF-55342, Automotive Electronics Council Q100/Q101/Q200/Q006
- BS or MS engineering degree with 20 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance.
