Our Special Programs team conducts sponsored Research and Development to advance our nation’s capabilities in support of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. Responsibilities
- Apply estimation, detection, tracking, and classification expertise to develop solutions to urgent and important problems in the radar systems domain
- Develop new estimation-theoretic algorithms and implement them in software (MATLAB®, Python)
- Enhance and extend existing code bases to process data from new sensor systems
- Prepare and present briefings to current and prospective customers
- Work with a flexible schedule and be willing to travel to accommodate customer priorities
- Active TOP SECRET Security Clearance
- Master’s degree and at least five years’ experience, or PhD degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics
- Programming experience in MATLAB® & Python
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of and experience with radar systems and processing
- Ability to effectively interact with customers to convey results of work and develop new projects
