Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR!Program SummaryKBR is seeking a Senior Logistics Advisor to support NAVAIR and AFSOC Training System Integrated Product Teams (IPT’s) for MC/KC-130J Training systems at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.Job SummaryThe Senior Logistics Advisor is involved in all aspects of the acquisition and life cycle management of training and training support systems for NAVAIR and AFSOC IAW DoD 5000.02 Series..Roles And Responsibilities
  • Assist NAVAIR DAPML in the management and integration of all logistics elements/product support functions and responsible for managing, coordinating, and integrating all logistics support requirements.
  • Assist MC/KC-130 Training IPT’s in development of DoD Acquisition documentation for current and emerging product support requirements, (eg. PWS, Specifications, LCSP, TFR’s, CCA, CDRL’s, PESHE, NEPA, NOR’s) and product support criteria (ILS Elements) required to maintain simulator support and availability goals.
  • Providing Command and IPT leadership, subject matter expertise required to develop, plan, implement and oversee training system program integrated logistics requirements.
  • Assisting NAVAIR DAPML in the planning, distribution, and execution of GFE to meet contract requirements.
  • Assist MC/KC-130 Training IPT’s in developing contract requirements to meet operational availability for program simulators.
  • Communicating integrated logistics support tasks and work assignments to ensure training system acquisition and/or sustainment programs life cycle support requirements are developed and achieved.
  • Participating in the Proposal Technical Evaluations (as required) of new device/capability procurements, modernization, and technical refresh of training devices.
  • Working closely with Facility Engineers on MILCON projects and facility requirements for training device installation onboard USN/USMC and USAF sites
  • Assisting NAVAIR DAPML in planning and execution of APN-6 spares funding to meet Fleet training sparing requirements, DON, NAWCTSD Sustainment Division, and NAWCTSD Branch directives.
  • Contributing to the quality and/or application of logistics policies, processes, and tools by participating in any knowledge sharing, subject matter expert contributions to SETR events, continuous process improvement, standard work packages, and mentoring others.
  • Participation in Risk Opportunity Working Groups to identify Aircrew Trainer facilities issues for new devices, DMSMS components, and schedule risk and develop a mitigation strategy.
  • Assisting NAVAIR DAPML in preparation of Resource Cost Estimates for Logistics Element Managers supporting the NAVAIR C-130 program.
  • Assisting NAVAIR DAPML in meeting all program objectives, deadlines, data calls required by Command and IPT Leads. Participate in problem resolutions as they arise from the sites in respect to repairs, purchases, and make recommendation as necessary.
  • Monitoring contractor execution of established program and product support requirements/reporting requirements (CDRL’s etc).
  • Providing Bi-weekly status, risk/issue identification to IPT/program PM as needed.
  • Contributing to contract performance monitoring goals through contribution to PM, LG, other applicable activity reports, monthly execution reviews, Integrated Logistics Support Working Groups and semi-annual PMRs.
  • Assist in development of contract logistics technical criteria and evaluation factors in support of program IPT’s.
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field and 8 years of experience. 4 years of specialized military experience in the relative field can be substituted for a BA/BS degree In lieu of formal education, at least 16 years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Certified Acquisition Professional, Logistics
  • This position requires a SECRET clearance
