Company OverviewKBW has partnered with a leading high-tech manufacturer. The company is currently focused on acquisitions and IPO readiness projects, as well as centralizing local accounting functions from 6-8 locations. North America operations account for approximately $600M, including corporate accounting and 7 locations outside of the corporate office.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Accounting Manager Consultant to join our Accounting team for a 6-12 month assignment. This role requires a commitment to working 1 day per week in the office and 4 days remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong GL accounting skill set, experience with intercompany transactions, and familiarity with SAP.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of Corporate general accounting, including analysis, reconciliation, journal entries, and the month-end close process.
- Develop and lead processes to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient accounting of month-end, quarterly, and year-end close procedures.
- Supervise and mentor Corporate accounting staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Maintain internal control compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with the coordination and management of the annual audit.
- Support initiatives to automate and streamline accounting processes, leveraging technology solutions where applicable.
- Collaborate with the IS Team and other partners on software and system enhancements.
- Assist Corporate FP&A team with budgeting and periodic financial projections as needed.
- Assist in special projects and key strategic initiatives, as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or advanced degree preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong GL accounting skills required.
- Experience with intercompany transactions a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel required; experience with SAP preferred.
- Experience with Blackline, AuditBoard, OneStream, a plus.
- Flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience with US GAAP and internal controls.
- Experience supervising accounting staff, conducting performance evaluations, and identifying training needs for employees.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
