KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting is helping a local manufacturer to find a Divisional Controller to take ownership of accounting for the plant. This is a well established company in the Billerica, MA area. Experience in a medium to larger manufacturing organization is important. Our client is very motivated to hire and is seeking a candidate who can interview immediately for this contract role.
The responsibilities for the Accounting Manager will include but will not be limited to:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Conduct cost analysis and support cost accounting activities
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights on production costs and financial performance
• Support month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Aid in preparation and post journal entries related to manufacturing operations
• Assist with forecasting activities specific to the manufacturing plant

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager should have experience that meets the following requirements:

• Bachelors in Accountingor Finance
• Experience in a complex manufacturing organization with deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, excellent systems skills, advanced Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
