Up to $125,000 DOE.The role requires someone to be local to be the Boston area and will be in the office a few days each week.Job Description
- Ensuring revenue is recognized in accordance with U. S. GAAP and ASC 606.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Recommending and executing process improvements.
- Acting as the first contact for revenue & AR questions.
- Supervising the processing of orders, invoices, and cash receipts in Oracle.
- Preparing revenue, deferred revenue, and other revenue-related journal entries.
- Reconciling accounts receivable and deferred revenue monthly.
- Assisting management by preparing monthly revenue-related reports.
- Preparing ad-hoc reports as needed for various groups.
- Providing US GAAP support to subsidiaries outside of the US.
- Assisting with the automation of business processes and implementing new tools as needed to manage revenue transactions.
- Acting as the main contact to external auditors for revenue, deferred revenue, and AR-related transactions.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience.
- ASC 606 experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, reprioritize, and manage multiple activities.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- CPA or auditing experience is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is highly preferred.
