Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-examination procedures including vitals, patient history, and preliminary assessments.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle correspondence.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by the physician.
• Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and materials.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic.
• Provide support and assistance to patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive clinic experience.
• Collaborate closely with clinic staff to maintain a smooth workflow and high standard of care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is advantageous.
• Prior experience in a medical office, particularly in neurology, is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and patient-centered care.
