We are looking for a talented and driven Director of Preconstruction to join our team and lead our preconstruction efforts.
Position Summary: The AP Specialist will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This role requires strong collaboration with multiple divisions within the firm, including but not limited to Development, Construction, and Property Management. This position is based at our Indianapolis corporate office.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.)

• Perform full cycle accounts payable duties, including invoice coding, approval workflow management, and AP reporting.
• Collaborate with various divisions within the firm to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices.
• Manage the AP workflow to ensure timely processing and payment of invoices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute AP reports as needed.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support the Controller and other accounting team members as needed.

Knowledge and qualifications required to perform the essential responsibilities of the position:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience in real estate or construction industry preferred.
• Proficiency with Avid AP system is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different divisions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
