Job Description

Come join the Talent Acquisition Team in our HQ office here in Chattanooga, TN! (Hybrid role)

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates to conducting initial phone screenings and coordinating additional hiring processes. You will work closely with Hiring Managers to understand the staffing needs of the company and ensure that the best talent is brought into the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates for various roles within the logistics sector
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals to identify potential candidates
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to fill positions quickly and efficiently
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and culture fit
  • Participate in job fairs and relevant networking events to enhance the company’s visibility and attract top talent
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities and candidate information

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of 3PL and talent needs of the industry is a plus
  • Professional certification in Human Resources preferred (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
  • Knowledge of labor market trends and best practices in talent acquisition
