Location: Austin, TX (remote/hybrid with 20% travel)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative and engaging content that aligns with the company’s objectives and target audience.
  • Write clear, compelling copy that reflects brand voices and values.
  • Manage the editorial calendar, social content production, scheduling content, and quality assurance.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop original, channel-specific content and execute marketing campaigns on our social media channels, ensuring content and brand consistency.
  • Create meaningful engagement and consistent conversation on social media through relevant and educational content that continues to resonate with our highly engaged audience.
  • Build community and brand advocacy through engagement and interaction.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities to elevate & define distinct roles for content on each social platform to build brand equity.
  • Monitor, measure, and continually update best practices and analysis of performance through weekly reporting to executives, communicating strategy and progress of key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the paid digital team to help identify and leverage any paid social media opportunities.
  • Be on the pulse of social trends, competitive landscape, Gen Z culture, and new social platforms to bring new ideas to the forefront.
  • Create a comprehensive social media brand guidelines book for all stakeholders to reference, adhere to, and apply in all social media and influencer efforts.
  • Maintain brand integrity and compliance with content produced.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • 3 years of experience within the content creation digital space or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and grammar with a strong portfolio.
  • Thorough knowledge of the social media marketing industry, strategies, and tactics.
  • Ability to assist in the development of strategic social marketing plans.
  • Deep experience and knowledge of social platforms.
  • Flexibility to adapt to feedback and changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of copyright laws and intellectual property laws.
  • Proven experience in measuring, recapping ROI, and replicating best practice conversion tactics.
  • Analytical skills, CPG experience, or social media certifications are a plus such as Meta Social or Meta Blueprint, TikTok Academy, and/or YouTube Certified.
  • Hybrid/Office environment with quarterly All Hands Meetings.
  • 20% travel expected for this role to attend trade shows, activations, etc. across the nation.
