Job SummaryThe Modern Languages department of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening to teach an online course in Medical Interpreting at the downtown Louisville campus.
Job DutiesThe primary responsibilities of this position are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

• Eighteen graduate hours in a Modern Language Master’s degree program, along with certification as a Medical Interpreter from a program such as Bridging the Gap, or 2) a Master’s degree in Modern Languages along with certification in Medical Interpreting.

Applicants must have certification as a Medical Interpreter to be considered for this job.
