Job DutiesProvide instruction so CDL students are well-educated and able to pass written CDL-A permit test, as well as pre-trip, skills, and road tests.
Continually evaluate student performance and document progress through attendance forms and checklists.
While monitoring student progress, identify any gaps and provide additional help as needed.
Emphasize safety concepts, principles, and procedures.
Ensure that the trucks are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Provide Bluegrass CDL students with quality training, while maintaining organized records and other various departmental responsibilities.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and four years.
Valid Class A CDL driver’s license
Preferred QualificationsSix years experience
Additional Skills RequestedStrong commitment to excellence in teaching
Experience working with a diverse population
Commitment to the mission of the College
