The successful candidate will maintain efficient and economical operation of packaging and filling lines, ensuring compliance with standards and protocols. This role requires a strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to perform a variety of machine-related tasks.Key Responsibilities:Operate packaging and filling lines, including medical device and OTC products, after completing cleaning and setup operations.Meet all standards set for each operation.Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of work centers and areas.Complete QA reports and pallet tickets.Communicate issues and resolution ideas to the Manager and ensure appropriate handoff of information to the next shift.Monitor line efficiency trends and work with the Manager to develop and implement action plans for improvement.Ensure proper line clearance and component/material preparation before starting the machine.Confirm component issues to production lines when applicable.Flexibly operate a variety of machines and support alternate shifts as needed.Work with QA on the release of machines and products being manufactured.Confirm component returns after work order completion when applicable.Train Packers and/or Packaging Machine Operators as needed.Reconcile inventory with Inventory Control when applicable.Review batch records as assigned.Post production in QAD.Coordinate rework operations when applicable and cost out rework if needed.Perform minor machine adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency of equipment.Troubleshoot and change-over filling equipment.Perform any other duties as assigned and trained.Qualifications:Ability to perform a large number of manual assembly and machine-related duties in compliance with customer and Acupac’s quality and quantity standards.Excellent visual inspection skills to identify defects on the line.Strong clerical ability to accurately record necessary data with good mathematical aptitude.Good eye/hand coordination, finger, and manual dexterity to group products, position, label, insert packages, etc., at required production proficiency standards.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.High School Education or equivalent.Ability to read, write, and comprehend operating procedures in English.On-the-job training for necessary machine skills, including proper operation, adjustments, maintenance, and safe working practices.Good interpersonal skills.Basic computer skills as necessary.What’s In It For YouActual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.Benefits:Competitive Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and Life Insurance and More!
