The Sign Installation and Service Technician is involved in the direct installation, repair and maintenance of electrical signs and lighting.

We are a union shop and you would have to be willing to become a member of the IBEW local once your probationary period is concluded.

You can expect to receive daily work schedule and travel to off-site locations in order to install, repair, inspect, troubleshoot, or clean signs and exterior lighting as noted on the work order at multiple sites for multiple customers. Must be presentable and possess the ability to speak with customers in order to build relationships and to communicate to them what is happening with their particular issue. Be thorough and accurate when filling out all paperwork pertaining to the specific job. Be responsible for maintaining your own tools, company inventory and vehicles. Be able to work overtime and/or on call as workload and emergency issues dictate. Be accountable for expenses and advances that will be given in order to travel and work in other areas. Follow all safety procedures at all times.

Basic Computer Skills.

Experience driving a bucket truck or similar vehicle/ the ability to obtain or already have a CDL class B is a .

DOT Medical Card (All Field Technicians will undergo a DOT Physical as part of their onboarding process).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position is based outdoors in the field, and therefore, regular exposure to heat, cold rain, etc., will be normal. Position will require lifting, up to and including 80 pounds and rarely exceeding 100 pounds. Position will require standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs and ladders, working from heights, crouching, kneeling, balancing, manual dexterity, grasping, depth perception and visual acuity-both near and far.
