Our law firm is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil itigation and be able to assist our team with a wide range of tasks. The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented and will have exceptional verbal communication skills to work directly with attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate for this position will also be highly motivated with a passion for law looking for growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and subpoenas.
• Assist team in pre-suit negotiations, preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
• Organize and manage case files, documents, and exhibits.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and other law firms.
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and other case materials.
• Use legal software and online systems for case management, document review, and docketing.
• Maintain calendars, meet deadlines, and document actions.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, G Suite and legal software (preferably File Vine).
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
• Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team.
• Ability to network.
• Familiarity with personal injury and real estate a plus

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 depending on experience, with a generous bonus structure. The successful candidate will require some degree of office mobility, as we have two offices - Safety Harbor Office (Main Street) and Tampa Office (Memorial Hwy).
