THE POSITION

As a customer service and implementation support specialist, you will have multiple discipline responsibilities. These disciplines will include order entry, communication with contract manufacturing customers, implementing new products to the system, as well as creating work orders to be scheduled for producing build to stock items. This role will provide service and support to external and internal customers interacting with supply chain, sales and marketing, production and engineering.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and direct customer purchase orders ensuring accuracy in order entry and work order creation to meet customer expectation on product delivery.
  • Develop and execution of work orders for internally produced products.
  • Work hand in hand with demand planning, purchasing and scheduling to ensure demand is accurately reflected throughout the supply chain.
  • Inform customer of order status and any issues impacting order shipment.
  • Effectively communicate and assist in resolving any issues impacting order fulfillment.
  • Provide information to customers and internal departments of changes in demand and / or product supply.
  • Update customer and product information in the system database to ensure execution of work is performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Work with sales, marketing and engineering as needed to revise existing products and implement new products in the system database.
  • Work closely with scheduling, manufacturing and shipping to ensure accurate information for internal and external customer orders.
  • Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by supervisor or management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years of customer service experience and manufacturing environment.
  • Detailed oriented and respect for procedure
  • Must have the ability to implement change and not maintain the status quo.
  • Exhibit a genuine display of customer service.
  • Excellent follow-up skills (leads, contacts, issue resolution)
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Can work well independently or as part of a cohesive team
  • Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, and Word
