About This Position

The Inventory Control Manager serves as a liaison between sales, regional warehouses, sub facilities and Keefe Group/KCN Corporate offices and is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels for the Western Region. 

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Coordinate semi-annual inventory for KCN, Securepak & Keefe Bulk at the Regional Warehouse and Sub facilities.
  • Update tags for counts
  • Assign teams
  • Track and account for all tags
  • Coordinate changes once counts are completed
• Track out of stock items and any substitutes used.
• Manage all aspects of tracking and reporting inventory items that may expire.
• Manage and develop processes to reduce regional exposure to expired product loss.
• Process expired/damaged items in AAIC99 system.
• Manage research and analysis of inventory issues and process AABM04 transactions to maintain accurate on hand inventory.
• Assist with buy back reports from customers.
• Coordinate menu item changes for KCN and customers.
• Coordinate item changes for Bulk and SecurePak with sales staff.
• Maintain lists of items sold in main and sub warehouses for KCN and SecurePak arenas.
• Coordinate with planners the acquisition of postage, tobacco and other items purchased regionally.
• Manage processes for return of inventory to vendors.
• Manage liquidation of inventory as directed.
• Manage disposal of inventory as directed.
• Plan and manage AAIC65 product locations in the warehouse for Bulk, KCN and SecurePak.
• Plan and manage weekly cycle count of items required by KCN Corporate.
• Manage quality control process for inventory accuracy when product is received.
• Review semi-monthly inventory reports to maintain acceptable levels of inventory at main and sub warehouses.
• Communicate with regional and corporate staff inventory issues or concerns to achieve resolution.
• Follow established procedures and complete other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Valid driver’s license

• Forklift Certified

• Warehouse managerial or supervisory experience

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs)
