Job Summary:
The Service Porter at Keffer Hyundai in Matthews, North Carolina will be responsible for assisting the service department with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This is a full-time, salaried technician/skilled labor/contractor position within the auto industry. This is an individual contributor role and the ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers as they arrive for service appointments
- Park and retrieve customer vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport vehicles to and from service bays and detail area
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire pressure checks and fluid top-offs
- Keep service department clean and organized
- Assist service advisors with various administrative tasks as needed
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
