Description
Shop Foreman provides daily interaction with technician providing daily scheduled workload, oversight for leadership, quality and feedback on timing of individual repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises hourly personnel
- Works off Planner to organize daily schedule with mechanics
- Works with Service Writers for priorities and any changes to equipment
- Reviews and verifies part/service requests on KTC equipment
- Accountable to missed or late work orders work with mechanics to review job time and complete orders
- Communicates with Drivers and Dispatch regarding the status and progress of repair orders
- Provides Professional Interface with Customers always representing Page.
- Oversees new hire training program for mechanics and supports ongoing training for existing staff
- The Forman is required to be a State and Federal Inspector and have the ability to perform all repairs needed as well as perform all repairs that the staff they are supervising.
