Kelco Industries is Hiring a CNC Operator (37477) Near Woodstock, IL
plastic work pieces.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Read and understand Engineered prints and manufacturing routers.
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills from work instructions, including work and tool offsets.
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to print specifications, using micrometers, calipers, depth gages, etc.
- Make “Tool offset” adjustments as necessary to fix out of tolerance conditions.
- Performs other related duties and special projects as required and assigned by the Manager.
- Keep work area, machines, and tooling clean.
- Set up and operate Haas CNC lathes, Haas CNC mill, and Swiss CNC lathe w/barfeeder.
- Read blueprints and measure parts using mics, calipers, depth gages, etc.
- Read G&M code and do basic edits.
- Must have transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
