Keller Executive Search International is Hiring a Process Control Engineer Near Macon, GA
Key Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)
- Design and execute process control strategies for continuous and batch processes, encompassing regulatory control, control sequence, logic, and advanced control
- Develop, modify, and enhance HMI systems
- Continuously monitor and analyze control system performance, including loop analysis and tuning
- Introduce new control system technologies
- Assist in troubleshooting process issues by identifying the causes of process upsets and other anomalies
- Develop and maintain alarm systems
- Provide support for capital projects, including the ability to develop project justifications and manage process control-related capital projects or sub-projects
- Perform any other duties assigned
- 3 - 8 years process control experience required.
- Good working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) - particularly Honeywell Experion or TDC; experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley ControlLogix) is a plus
- BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Pulp/Paper Science)
- Firm Foundation in industrial process knowledge.
- Experience with instrumentation and electrical systems associated with process control systems
- Excellent computer skills - particularly Microsoft including Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, Power Point
- Highly competent in data analysis and use of process data historians such as OSI PI or Capstone ParcView
- Understand P&ID drawings, loop sheets, and motor elementaries and be able to create these drawings as necessary to support project work and to maintain existing drawing using AutoCAD or equivalent drawing tools
- Licensed Professional Engineer in GA a plus
- Must currently residing and authorized to work in the United States
- Competitive Salary $90K - $130K annualy
