Position Title: Legal Assistant and Paralegal

Location: Keller Macaluso LLC – Carmel, Indiana

Employment Type: Full-Time,In-Person

Reports To: Managing Attorneys

Job Overview:

Keller Macaluso seeks a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Legal Assistant and Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate has experience in litigation, leasing, corporate law, estate planning, probate and real estate transactions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a dedication to client service, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Proficiency with Clio, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office, Adobe and Westlaw is desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Manage case files using Clio, draft and review legal documents, assist in litigation support, and conduct legal research.
  • Real Estate & Corporate Transactions: Prepare and review closing documents, coordinate closing process, and support transactions.
  • Estate Planning: Assist with wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist with billing and bookkeeping, manage calendars and perform general office tasks.
  • Client Service & Team Collaboration: Provide exceptional client service, collaborate with attorneys and team members, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: College degree preferred; Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a legal administrative or paralegal role preferred.
