Exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Controller to join our manufacturing client reporting up to the President.

This position will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including job-cost accounting, monthly financial statements, payroll, and progress billing. The Controller will also be responsible for managing purchase orders, receiving, payables, billings, and shipping coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for accounting function
• Conduct job-cost accounting, including tracking work-in-progress (WIP)
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Bank Reconciliations
• General Ledger/Journal Entries
• Manage payroll processes
• Handle progress project billing activities
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Assist with month-end, year-end closing
• Oversee purchase orders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
• Six years of related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software Suite including Excel
• ERP accounting software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality are essential
