Summary Details:

• Location: West Valley City, Utah
• Pay: $25/hour DOE
• Work Schedule:
• 4x10: Monday – Thursday (10 hrs.) or
• Monday – Friday (7:00 am to 3:00 pm) (8 Hrs.)

Job Description:

The Chemical Engineering Technician is responsible for handling flammable liquids/material and handling of air/water sensitive materials. The technician must be able to adjust to changing environments and working conditions, and be able to troubleshoot process/mechanical issues.

• Able to troubleshoot process/mechanical issues
• Able to adjust to changing environments and working conditions
• Able to troubleshoot process/mechanical issues

Skills/Technical Expertise: (Let me know on a scale of 0-10 skill level- with 0 being not used ever & 10 being expert).

• GC, GC/MS
• High Pressure reactors, experience with distillation, Glove box and Schlenk line.
• Handling flammable liquids/material
• Handling of air/water sensitive materials

Required:

• Education: BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Prior Experience: Experience in oil and refinery environments please apply
• Must be ITAR Compliant

PPE Required for this role:

• FIT Test
• Respirator
• Steel Shoes
• Flame Retardant Jumpsuits
• Additional: Goggles/Face Shield
