Kelly is Hiring a 2nd Shift Laboratory Technician Near Kalamazoo, MI
Pay: $25-35/hour depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm (training with be on 1st shift 6:00am-2:00pm.

SummaryAs the Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for analyzing raw materials, in-process intermediates and finished products using analytical instrumentation including Gas Chromatography and Atomic Absorption.
Job Duties Include
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finish product samples including but not limited to, Tinsel Testing, Viscosity, and analysis through Gas Chromatography and Atomic Absorption.
- Maintain detailed documentation of experimental data and interpretation of results
- Contribute to the continuation of quality system AS9100 certification.
- Prepare, complete, update and maintain all reports, records and documentation as assigned.
- Adhering to all lab safety protocols
- Assisting in generating final product certification of analysis for shipments.
- Assisting with general lab maintenance and organization
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field strongly preferred.
- 2 years of experience within a QC Laboratory
- Previous experience with Gas Chromatography, Atomic Absoption, tinsel testing, viscosity, and melt flow index is a plus.
- Must be able to manage multiple types of testing at once, have strong attention to detail and have strong communication skills.
- Dependability, reliability and strong ethics required.
