Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $17-$22/hour depending on experience
Shift Times: 1st Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday)
3rd Shift: 7:30pm to 6:00am (Monday to Thursday)

What’s a typical day as a Brake Press Operator? You’ll be:
  • Forming/bending parts on a CNC Brake Press to meet blueprint specifications
  • Keeping up with production schedules and meeting quality requirements
  • Performing set-up procedures on simple to moderately complex part runs
  • Utilizing inspection devices to inspect parts according to print and product inspection plan
  • Spot-checking quality of work through periodic and visual inspection
  • Measuring work using rule, gauges, calipers, and templates
  • Determining correct tooling for forming parts based on material type, thickness, bend radius, and part geometry
  • Generating programs at machine controller on simple to moderately complex parts
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Making small, mathematically calculated angle and dimensional corrections
  • Following all safety rules and regulations
This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You
  • Have 3 or more years of experience as a Brake Press Operator
  • Are proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings
  • Have advanced knowledge of brake press operations (a plus)
  • Are familiar with the use of dial calipers, square, and various measuring equipment
  • Have basic math knowledge
  • Are able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, squatting, twisting, and turning
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
