Heavy Equipment Field Technician We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanic for our client to help provide customers with exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong work ethic who flourishes in a fast-paced and professional workplace. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will perform repairs and or rebuild service on Komatsu and other brands of heavy equipment engines so you should have strong diagnostic and repair skills. Duties will include working on your own, out of a field service truck and perform service on Komatsu and other brands of heavy equipment. What We Offer

Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic breakdowns on heavy equipment
Create job plan based on diagnosis to include repair operations and anticipated repair hours need to complete repair.
Prepare inspection, RCFA, troubleshoot and teardown reports.
Organize, clean, and maintain a safe work area.
Communicate effectively with Service Planner, and Supervisors to insure problems, nature of the repair, and status of those repairs are understood and followed up on in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and/or management.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of previous dealership experience
Qualified candidates must have 3 years of successful hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, diagnostics, and be very experienced with the latest electronically controlled machines.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work independently in performing repairs and maintenance
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics
Team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team
Self-motivated and professional
Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screening
