Job Summary:

• Independently conduct medical evaluations to include vital signs.
• Administer injections.
• Provide work-related immunizations.
• Comply with universal precautions, infection control and waste management guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Maintain clinical supplies and equipment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Must be reliable and accurate in recording patient data/flu vaccine data.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work with a variety of patients and other health care workers.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Sit or Stand throughout a regular 8 hour work day.
• Ability to work on computer for long periods.

Education and/ or Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• License: Registered Nurse in Maryland preferred. Compact state licenses accepted.
• Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Must adhere to HIPAA, Privacy Act guidelines and be able to perform work in a confidential manner.
• Self-motivated with minimal oversight
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

*This position is seasonal/ short-term contract with both full-time and part-time availability.
