Duties
- Troubleshooting equipment, identifying root causes, and taking corrective action to resolve problems.
- Recognizing quality issues and making necessary adjustments to ensure excellent product quality.
- Performing general upkeep on equipment to improve reliability and maintain process and product consistency.
- Applying knowledge of manufacturing processes to achieve and exceed production targets.
- Performing material handling tasks, including proper packaging and labeling of products.
- Repairing breaks in creel and throughout the production line by tying on or splicing ends.
- Inspecting and splicing fiber from creel to winders according to production forms.
- Maintaining a good work ethic and prioritizing attendance while working around mechanical machinery.
- Have a stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Must have 1 and more years of Manufacturing experience
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Can work safely and follow safety protocols.
- Have effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
- Are flexible to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as required.
- Have the physical ability to sit or stand for 10 to 12 hours, lift up to 50lbs, consistently climb stairs, and wear a respirator.
- Are proficient in operating computers and related systems.
- Have completed and passed essential function testing.
- Must wear steel toe shoes and PPE
- Be okay to work in a not climate control facility
