Title: Project Manager
Location: State College, PA
Duration: 6 months
Overview
- Title: Project Manager – Business Integration
- Will report to the Site Leader
- Responsible for ensuring successful completion of all aspects of the project’s coordination and implementation. Coordinate a multi-disciplinary team that includes internal and external customers.
- Organize project, tasking priorities to achieve objectives
- Define and manage project scope, schedule, resources, risk, and metrics
- Partner with Senior leadership to allocate resources to drive projects to on-time completion
- Identifies and coordinates the efforts of various members of cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables
- Delegates tasks to the appropriate team members throughout the organization
- Schedules and leads team meetings and ad hoc meetings, as required, in coordinating project activities and managing project issues
- Leads project decision making process and brings closure to open issues
- Manages project communications including meeting minutes, monthly updates, communications meetings, and project tollgates
- Maintains current program review documentation and provides reports on progress to site and division management
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines; will consider Business Management or Leadership
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years of project management experience, with 3 or more preferred
- Demonstrated written and oral communication capability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project or other equivalent software tool for program tracking
- PMP Certification preferred
- Must possess solid business acumen, strong leadership skills, and analytical proficiency
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to anticipate and recognize issues, analyze risks, consider options, and make decisions to drive results.
- Must be able to function in a changing, high-impact position with deadline and resource limitations.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, internal and external customers and suppliers, and outside agencies.
- Hybrid position: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
- Local candidates only
- Contract slated through February 2025
- This role will not support sponsorship candidates
