Kelly is Hiring a Quality Control Technician Near Huntington, WV
Shift: Monday- Friday 3pm-11:30. Training on 1st shift for 3 weeks.
Pay rate: $20/hr
Responsibilities
- Uses established methods to verify quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products; performs calculations and makes blends to determine adjustments that may be required to ensure conformance.
- Keeps detailed records and communicates results in a timely manner; Enters test data into our SAP system; files vendor certifications, and raw material and production inspections in appropriate area.
- Prepares laboratory reagents; calibrates equipment; files retain samples in appropriate holding areas.
- Participates in general housekeeping including routine cleaning and maintenance
- A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry
- Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Laboratory and SAP computer system experience a plus.
