$19.00 per hr.
8am-430pm M-F

- Assembling and preparing orders and other non-production items for shipping
- Packing shipping boxes appropriately
- Shipping products to Kennametal distribution centers and directly to customers using UPS software or FedEx labels
- Verifying quantity shipped on delivery notes as orders are packed
- Securing pallets of reusable totes for shipment
- Preparing bill of lading for shipment to North American Distribution Center
- Processing post goods issue in SAP
- Distributing paperwork from day’s shipments
- Assisting with problem resolution and working with planners
- Performing other duties as requested by your Supervisor/Manager
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalency
- Have 1-3 years of shipping/warehouse experience (preferred)
- Possess basic math and basic mechanical skills
- Have the ability to use a personal computer and various software such as SAP MII, Microsoft Office, access Kennametal Intranet and QMS systems
- Can read and interpret SAP screens, such as MD04 and MB51
- Have the ability to read, understand, and follow operating procedures
- Are familiar with domestic and international shipping requirements
- Have the ability to operate dock plate/lock mechanisms, walk-behind powered industrial truck, operate a scissor lift, operate a paper feeder
