What’s a typical day as a Strategic Procurement Sourcing Specialist? You’ll be:

• Establishing a strong presence in the field to understand business needs and foster relationships with plant leaders
• Acting as a trusted business partner, influencing leadership and guiding optimal supply decisions with clear communication and quick responsiveness
• Proactively addressing supply gaps, negotiating terms and conditions, and leading commercial conflict resolutions to minimize risks and losses
• Driving continuous improvement efforts, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring supplies and services meet requirements and specifications
• Maximizing the utilization of enterprise agreements or actively sourcing products/services
• Utilizing strategic sourcing processes to recommend supply solutions that maximize value
• Leading sourcing project implementations with minimal disruption to operations
• Applying strategic sourcing best practices and industry knowledge, leveraging analytics tools to pursue value generation targets
• Managing a portfolio of projects aimed at delivering additional value to the business in the short/mid term
• Collaborating with operations and suppliers to optimize the procure-to-pay process and establish and manage supplier relationships
• Driving adoption of procurement systems

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Have 5 years of experience in procurement positions, with a strong understanding of strategic sourcing practices
• Have experience in self-directed roles with high customer-centricity expectations
• Have experience in the manufacturing or mining industry
