We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager that has valve experience for a premier client located in Houston, TX 77093 .
Must Have Valve Experience
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
pay Rate: 65k depending on experienceResponsibilities

Must Have Valve Experience

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the valve warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse organization.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and accuracy.
- Ensure proper inventory control, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and regular audits.
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and organization to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track and monitor inventory levels, order processing, and warehouse performance.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a valve or industrial products distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Forklift certification (preferred).
