Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a CAD Designer to join their hybrid team in Cottage Grove, Minnesota! As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible to perform 3D part and assembly modeling for moderate to complex product designs along with providing your input, thoughts, ideas, options in collaboration with engineering staff as part of product development teams. A high degree of CAD technology expertise is essential for this role to efficiently cycle through the design process iterations while ensuring flexible modeling techniques are in accordance with on-going life cycle support of the product models and drawings. In this role you will also work with other related technologies which may include Tolerance Analysis, Rapid Prototyping, FEA model set up and processing, etc. You will also be expected to have an understanding of and experience making design decisions based on Design for Manufacturing
