Duties
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on the design and implementation of products
- Work with Backend Engineers to build and ship features
- Design a framework for creating user apps that grows with the needs of the company
- Monitor app performance
- Watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues
- Review app and feature code
- Plan future app upgrades with the development team
- Assist in the development of features that will be put on the mobile app and in internal applications
- Implement responsible design principles to ensure that the app renders well on most devices and is accessible
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
- 3 years of experience working on large scale iOS applications
- Experienced and innovative technical lead Senior iOS Software Engineer
- Experience as a technical lead for the design and implementation of architecturally significant applications
- Experience with modern iOS libraries and tooling
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub Actions
- Ability to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times
- Eager to work in a collaborative environment where respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety are valued
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience
- Strong experience using Swift
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented, works well in a team and individually
- Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of the entire mobile development process including design, development, testing and releases
- A solid understanding of best practices and techniques regarding scalability, performance, and security
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills
- Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines
