POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for preparing and reviewing all documents necessary for closing consumer loans accurately and according to the decision requirements. Emails, faxes or mails loan paperwork, distributes loans to branches and coordinates closings with branch personnel. Types and handles miscellaneous paperwork. Monitors and reviews incoming loans from other branches for accuracy and compliance. Set up, reconciliation and funding for indirect auto loans and leases. Maintains files and answers or directs telephone calls. Provides professional service to members.

NOTE:
This is NOT a remote position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES

• Prepares paperwork for review and closings and orders any documents needed for review.
• Disburse loan according to loan decision requirements.
• Journals fees, collects insurance premiums, and any other costs associated with a loan.
• Coordinates loan closings with branches, and closes loans as necessary.
• Completes research and resolves documentation errors or discrepancies.
• Receives and screens telephone calls. Answers routine questions or directs them to appropriate personnel.
• Completes loan processing duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:
High School graduate or equivalent.

Required Knowledge:
Understanding of consumer loam products and services.
Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures.

Experience Required:
One to three years of similar or related experience.

Skills/Abilities:
Strong typing skills.
Good verbal public relations skills.
Well organized.
Able to operate calculator, word processor, and related computer applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.49 - $20.36 per hour
