This role involves creating comprehensive safety guides, manuals, and educational materials for the marine industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical or educational writing and a talent for making complex information easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop clear, concise, and accurate safety guides and manuals.
• Create engaging educational materials for various audiences.
• Ensure all content adheres to maritime safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and verify information.
• Conduct field visits and participate in training sessions to gain hands-on knowledge.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time for research and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of experience in technical or educational writing.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards (marine industry experience is a plus).
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to simplify complex information for a broad audience.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with publishing software.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
