- Execute the highest level of automotive diagnostics and repair while leading the shop under the Ken Garff core values
- Assist service technicians with difficult diagnostics
- Train and develop all service technicians while ensuring that everyone is up to date with vendor certifications
- Address the customer’s primary concern with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain Fixed First Visit expectations
- Ensure the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection on every vehicle
- Master our Dealer Management System (Reynolds) for time keeping, work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes and communication
- Keep the shop in ship shape and can always account for all dealership-owned tools
- Ace your assigned factory-sponsored training classes
- Maintain knowledge of all factory technical bulletins
- Leave no trace in a customer’s car by keeping it clean
- Understand federal, state and local regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Prior experience working as a Shop Foreman is highly preferred
- Experience in leading a team or being a team lead in a mechanic shop environment is required
- Master or Senior Master manufacture certifications are strongly desired
- Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information, whether electronic or paper-based
- Excel at diagnostics, drive-ability, and solving electrical problems
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing any/all types of vehicle systems
- Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as patience, creativity, and an eye for detail
- A valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards
